Virtual Robotics Toolkit Subscriptions
New opportunities for virtual robot testing are available. With Covid-19 restricting gatherings and students' abilities to work over term two, the MJRC has been rescheduled. Moving forward we will also offer a virtual platform to continue with the competition on the rescheduled date in the event of further pandemic interruptions.
The Whitsunday Festival of STEM has received an Ergon Energex grant that will pay for subscriptions for schools to access Virtual Robotics Tookit. This software will allow you to use a virtual robot to complete virtual challenges without the cost of owning an EV3 kit. It interacts with the Mindstorms software for programming. This is a great way to get started to compete in the competition.
Further information will be developed for the Term Three competition to be available in both a live and virtual capacity.
To take advantage of the subscription offer for your school, please email Sandra Bayliss for more information.
